Thanks to our personalized services tailored to mid-sized organizations,” said Tzur Sarig, CEO of We-Ankor (part of the Hilan Group), at the company’s event held today (Monday) in Haifa in collaboration with Cisco, NetApp, and Commvault. By Yossi Hatoni – May 30, 2022

“Paradoxically—though not really—the entry of global cloud giants into Israel will actually help us grow our base of enterprise cloud customers,” said Tzur Sarig, CEO of We-Ankor, a subsidiary of the Hilan Group. “That’s because we offer personalized services that are tailored to mid-sized organizations.”
Sarig made these remarks at the opening of We-Ankor’s customer event titled “Protect Your Hybrid Cloud”, held at the Adam & Eve venue in Haifa. The event welcomed over 100 customers and business partners, and was hosted in collaboration with Cisco, NetApp, and Commvault.
Rapid Growth and Focus on Cybersecurity
“The past year,” noted Sarig, “was marked by significant acceleration in our activities across all sectors. We’ve seen consistent growth in every area of our business. The tech trends that emerged during the COVID crisis have continued: digital transformation, major investments in infrastructure, and a sharp focus on information security. Due to the rise in cyber threats, organizations have increased investments in protecting their data—which directly contributed to the strong growth of our cybersecurity services.”
A Pioneer in Israel’s Cloud Landscape
“We were among the pioneers of cloud computing in Israel,” Sarig stated. “We operate through WeCloud, our hybrid and public cloud platform for business clients. It hosts thousands of servers and provides high availability, resilience, and redundancy, enabling us to deliver a wide range of enterprise IT services under SLA conditions.”
“Our cloud platform offers infrastructure hosting, backup and disaster recovery services, development and testing environments, and tools for managing, backing up, and restoring organizational data. All of this is supported by our expert teams throughout the process.”
Hybrid Cloud and the Road Ahead
“Over 150 mid-to-large-sized enterprise clients already use our cloud services,” Sarig concluded. “Along with our full service portfolio, we wrap our offering with a suite of advanced cloud security products. We expect accelerated migration of more clients to the cloud—driven by a shortage of skilled infrastructure professionals and a growing preference among organizations to offload hardware and maintenance burdens.”
“In 2021, we experienced double-digit growth, and I believe that this trend will continue in 2022. We have more than 100 employees, and last year alone we hired dozens more. We plan to continue expanding at the same pace. The future is hybrid cloud—and it demands specialized security.”
The event concluded with a keynote lecture by Ohad Hemo, Palestinian affairs correspondent for Israel’s Channel 12 News.
